Greece is among the prettiest destinations in Europe and selecting just a few photos of Greece for a recent photo contest was no easy task, however the Acropolis won't be ignored. Our Greek vacation included Athens, Mykonos, Paros and Santorini as well as the photo that really won second devote the contest would have been a photo of a gingerbread.

Take a few.5 mile hike from Fira to Oia. Be sure to take water and wear comfortable shoes. The views from the ocean as well as the volcano are spectacular.
Check out your ruins of Ancient Thera. This ancient city includes remains from multiple periods like the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine. Once you get to the ancient city, you can look down and find out the black sand beaches. Kamari Beach is among the most popular beaches on Santorini.
Enjoy a later date at the lake at Red Beach. The beach is termed for reddish volcanic sand.
